Bruce Faudree, AIA, RIBA, NCARB
Director of Architecture
In 2015, Bruce joined Mason & Hanger to expand the firm’s footprint into new and emerging markets while aligning with the vision of Building a More Secure World. Through-out his career, he has traveled to over 54 different countries and has personally worked on design and construction projects with a combined value exceeding $12 billion. These projects have ranged from small private residences to full embassy compounds exceeding 100 acres in size. Many of these projects have been located in kinetic high threat environments located throughout North Africa, the Middle East, and South and Central Asia.
Prior to Mason & Hanger, Bruce served as Division Chief for the Near East Asia – South Central Asia (NEA-SCA) Division in the Office of Project Development and Coordination for the U.S. Department of State Bureau of Overseas Buildings Operations (OBO). While there, he was responsible for all embassy and consulate design and construction projects in the region. Earlier in his career, Bruce was Principal of his own firm, and partner in another, both located in Oklahoma City.
He has served as the Assistant Dean for International Affairs, and as a Special Lecturer for the Faculty of Architecture at Chiang Mai University in Thailand. He concurrently served as the Architect and Special Projects Coordinator for the Southern Baptist International Mission Board Pacific Rim Region. After the 2004 tsunami, he directed all Southern Baptist disaster relief and reconstruction efforts in south Thailand.
Bruce is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma College of Architecture, and is an avid Sooner football fan.
